According to a survey conducted by Morning Consult on behalf of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), business travelers in the U.S. plan to significantly pare back travel plans amid rising COVID-19 cases. The survey conducted Aug. 11–12, 2021 among a national sample of 2,200 adults indicated that 67% of respondents plan to take fewer trips, and 60% plan to postpone existing travel plans.
